Psalm 138 – For Though The Lord Is High, He Regards The Lowly Man

I give thanks and praise, O God, to You with my whole heart.
I bow down before Your holiness,
to bless Your righteous name.

Your faithfulness and love endures.

Your Word and Your name, You’ve exalted above all.
On the day I called, You answered me,
My soul You lifted up.

May all men of earth regard Your ways.

For though the Lord is high, He regards the lowly man,
but the haughty man, who esteems Him not,
He knows from afar.

Be near O God for I call on Thee.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble and of strive,
you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand
against my enemies.

And your right hand delivers me.

The Lord will fulfill all his purposes for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever
endures forever.
