And leap, ye lame, for joy!

Posted in Hymns / Songs / Lyrics, Poetry, Prayer Request at 10:55 pm by Sarah Bosse

Hear Him, ye deaf; His praise, ye dumb,
Your loosened tongues employ;
Ye blind, behold your Savior come,
And leap, ye lame, for joy.

from “Oh, for a Thousand Tongues to Sing” by Charles Wesley, 1739

One day, I will leap too!!
But in my heart, I leap already!!!

    Sarah,
    I love to read your musings. You have a beautiful way with words. I love your humor, your thoughtfulness on the spiritual life, your transparency, and many different things about your writing. It’s especially meaningful to me having gotten to know you more personally over the last weeks and knowing both your own joys and struggles. Thanks for sharing a little bit of your life with everyone! Love you, Mary Jane
